re-specifying 'root' command doesn't replace the root value

Description
When the 'root' command is run from the grub-style interface, the first value provided cannot subsequently be changed. e.g. if the command 'root hde1' is entered by mistake, it should be possible to later specify 'root hde1:' and have it update the root value.
