Description
There have been a _lot_ of requests for 440BX-based mainboards in the past, so this chipset seems to be really popular and we should support it.

- Resolution set to fixed
- Status changed from new to closed
No software is ever "finished" as long as it is not obsolete. Closing this down since 440BX underwent considerable improvements including making the code more generic, and even ACPI is being developed for it at the moment.

So far it seems to have only been user requests. :( And the one developer who has a 440bx setup can't seem to find any time to work on it. I've outlined what needs to be done a few times.
Seriously, its in the top of my to do stack. But I'm a bit bandlimited still. Also complicated by the fact that I don't have all my previous tools handy anymore. It wont be until I get up to Boston that I can start aquiring new tools. So if nobody else steps up to the plate then I can hopfully get to this in January or 07.
